Producer prices of industrial products on domestic market in August 2024, compared to July 2024, were on average 1.4% higher. Compared to August 2023 they were 3.5% higher and compared to December 2023 they were 5.8% higher.

By purpose of consumption, in August 2024, compared to July 2024, prices of energy were on average 3.7% higher, prices of consumer durables were 2.4% higher, prices of capital goods were 0.3% higher, while prices of intermediate goods same as prices of consumer non-durables were on average 0.3% lower.

By section of industrial production (PRODCOM), in August 2024, compared to July 2024, prices of the section (D) Electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply were on average 3.9% higher, prices of the section (E) Water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities were on 0.4% higher, prices of the section (B) Mining and quarrying were on average 0.5% lower and prices of the section (C) Manufacturing remained on average at the same level.

By division of industrial production, in August 2024, compared to July 2024, prices increased in the following divisions: Electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply 3.9%; Manufacture of furniture 2.4%; Other mining and quarrying 1.6%; Manufacture of paper and paper products 1.0%;Manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products 0.7%; Waste collection, treatment and disposal activities, material recovery 0.4%; Manufacture of basic metals 0.2%; Manufacture of wood and of products of wood and cork, except furniture; manufacture of articles of straw and plaiting materials and Manufacture of fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment 0.1%.

A decrease in prices in August 2024, compared to July 2024, was recorded in the following divisions: Manufacture of electrical equipment 5.3%; Manufacture of wearing apparel 4.7%; Mining of metal ores 2.0%; Manufacture of chemicals and chemical products, Manufacture of rubber and plastic products, Manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products 0.2%; Manufacture of food products and Manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c. 0.1%.

In the remaining eleven divisions of industrial production, prices in August 2024, compared to July 2024, remained on average at the same level.
